New Year's Eve 2006

Last night we had a bunch of friends over for a New Year's party. The turn out was pretty good, especially considering that we had the first snow of the season last night. That made the roads a bit slippery, but almost everyone was still able to make it.

It was a fairly low-key event, mostly just hanging out with a little game playing thrown in for good measure. We had enough food to feed twice as many people so that was good. On the other hand, I was a clumsy idiot and spilled no less then three drinks over the course of the evening so that was less awesome. The spilling began before the party had even gotten started, so don't jump to conclusions about it's cause.

Read on for some pictures.

The weather could have been a bit more cooperative, but then again it was the first snow of any significance we've gotten and it was practically January. So I can't really complain.

Angela, Nate, Angel, Mike, Felicia and Anita playing 'Last Word.

Laura, Tony, Linzy, Jim, Robin, Fred, Brenden and Allison hanging out in the kitchen.

Brenden and Allison.

Pippen was disgruntled that everyone was standing around and there were no laps to lay on.

Playing Guitar Hero 2, while Brenden shows off.

When playing co-op, David Lee Roth-esque leg kicks should ideally be done in sync. Flexibility, optional.

For some reason, watching me and Brenden suck at playing tier 8 songs in expert co-op mode in GH2 wasn't keeping Allison and Pippen awake.
